Ouch, 0-3 ...and some deep thoughts....
We are not a good team -- not now and not for the forseeable future..but we still have a chance since there's plenty of time left........so GO Braves!!
Andrew Warren is still in 1st place in scoring in the Valley...
18.9 ppg, 2.0 pts ahead of the 2nd place guy, Colt Ryan
Andrew has 1283 points in his career now and has passed Daniel Ruffin for 20th place...these guys are next in order..
#19 Jeremy Crouch 1306
#18 Bob Carney 1355
#17 Al Smith 1408
#16 James Gillingham 1416
AW's career FT pct is now 309-363, .851...
this is solidly in 2nd place all time at BU, but if he keeps up his current pace of shooting 90% this season, he will raise his average sufficiently to move past Roger Phegley who sits at .855 career FT pct.
OJ Mayo is beginning to prove himself more of a liability than a benefit...just as he ended up doing to his college team, USC!
Even after impressive first two seasons in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies...
he hasn't helped them to the postseason so it could still be all for naught...
Now-- this year his stats are off further and others have noted a lack of effort and concentration...now OJ has lost his starting spot to Tony Allen.
BUT -- suddenly, last night OJ was not in the lineup and was listed as sitting out due to bronchitis...but other sources claim he's had issues that caused the team to sit him...
Now this report...after the game...
"Tony Allen and O.J. Mayo were involved in a physical altercation Monday
afternoon over a gambling debt during the Grizzlies’ flight home from Los
Angeles.
But the incident was described as a one-sided scrap in which Allen clearly
got the best of Mayo.
According to a source, Mayo and Allen were involved in a card game that left
Mayo owing Allen between $1,000 and $1,500. Mayo refused to pay and
repeatedly insulted Allen.
Allen then went to the restroom and returned to Mayo, who was acting more
belligerent about losing. Allen then struck Mayo and the two had to be
separated by teammates."

And - this separate report..
"The Memphis Grizzlies said that O.J. Mayo missed Tuesday's game due to
bronchitis, but according to a report last night, the real reason may be that
Mayo and teammate Tony Allen got into a scuffle Monday evening. According
to the report, the two got into an argument Monday on the team flight
because Allen wanted money Mayo owed him from a card game. Apparently,
Mayo got more and more belligerent about not paying it until things got
physical.
Considering he's gone from integral starter last season to afterthought sixth
man this season, it's clear the Grizzlies weren't happy with Mayo even before
this incident. If the Grizzlies sat Mayo due to the incident and not Allen, then
he's clearly in a deep, deep doghouse in Memphis. Allen started and had a
nice line: 19 points, 2 3s, 2 dimes, 2 blocks and 3 steals."
So -- is Mayo self destructing?? Will he end up bringing down his entire team and organization like he did at USC?? Interesting...
Tom Crean has a twitter counterfeiter causing some issues..

Here's the phony Tom Crean -- kinda juvenile but funny

Indiana lost again last night...Matt Roth played just 3 minutes and missed his only shot.
Non-sports---
The atheists are at it again....trying to grab a little cheap publicity....while really not adding a thing to any conversation except to say people who believe other than they believe are stupid, misinformed, gullible, and being scammed..
http://www.waaytv.com/news/local/story/Atheist-billboard-American-Atheists/-cKIDvYDmky7NcRrw7ssTA.cspx
"You know they are all scams" ..they say about other people's personal beliefs.
Other billboards go so far as to actually call the words of the Bible "lies"..and "myths"
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/11/29/article-1334040-0C4782D1000005DC-303_468x286.jpg
The leader of the atheist group that put the billboards up was interviewed last night and what he says, basically, is that not only are all religions phony and "scams" but that 90% of the people who go to church and who adhere to those religions already know they are scams but are either "gullible", or "pressured" into continuing to go to church, or are being scammed.
He makes his point very clear in that he believes that the only clear-minded people, the only truly intelligent people who see things as they are and who are not falling for the "scam" are the atheists like him.
He is really placing himself up on a pedestal claiming to have greater and more pristine & pure knowledge than everyone who believes in "myths" and religions.
But this is nothing new...and differs very little from gnosticism...
This is the Knowledge Cult....they were called gnostics 2000 years ago...
the very word "Gnosis" means "knowledge" in Greek...
They are people who try to persuade others by claiming a greater knowledge and a greater insight..either into religion or away from religion...
It might be insight or greater enlightenment about some other god or the absence of a god.....although most atheists, even the ones who claim they believe in "no god" actually DO HAVE a god...
Their god is themselves...they simply elevate themselves to the highest position in the universe and believe they know more than anyone else...
You are free to believe what you want...but until someone shows me a nation ruled by atheists that treats its people fairly and well, or any atheist organization that gives their time, effort, or money to help the ill or the poor...then I choose to believe that atheism is the absolute ultimate form of selfishness...
Not only do these atheists gain innumerable benefits from religion, their own free nation, and the systems around the world that treat others fairly...then they turn and condemn those of faith as suckers who are being scammed!
The atheists are HYPOCRITES of the very highest order...
they claim the right to believe as they wish, then turn and call other stupid for their differing beliefs!
Millions came to the US to be able to worship freely -- and those atheists have benefited from that. But, duhhh, how many atheists do we see leaving the US and going to atheistic nations so they can feel better being surrounded by like atheists??
None, of course, because they know better -- they'd never want to live in an atheistic nation...they know how bad that would be!!!
And atheists PUTTING THEMSELVES at the center of the universe and never doing a thing to help their neighbor...is part of the problem we have in the world today.
Atheists NEVER help other or are generous to others...they naturally think only of themselves.
Somewhere between 90% and 99% of all volunteer aid, assistance, help for homeless, disabled, oppressed, hungry, destitute, orphans, poor, and dying -- is provided by people of faith and by organizations led as faith-based organizations.
Anywhere in the WORLD that there is suffering we see humanitarian people and organizations helping and they are all people of faith and proud of it...please sho me an atheist organization that's helping anyone anywhere??
NONE exist -- so that alone is a powerful statement about atheists.
Really -- whether you want to believe in Christ or Christianity or not...you simply cannot hide from the fact that without people who call themselves followers of Christ in this world...we'd still be in the dark ages and people in all nations would be ruled by tyrants and people who follow no moral code...and suffering would abound.
This is the way it was in the times of the Roman emperors, Attila the Hun, etc...
and outside of the Judea-Christian moral code that has been accepted by many worldwide, we'd still have that kind of world...
Then we come to the obvious question...
Just what does an atheist believe about Jesus himself?
I doubt there is a single figure in all of human history before the 19th century, that there's any more PROOF and documentation of his life and existence than Jesus.
You cannot possibly contend that he did not exist if you are an atheist and if you still want to be taken with any credibility.
So, the only remaining option is to agree that he did exist but that he wasn't who he said he was...and he wasn't who all his closest acquaintances said he was...and even who the Roman rulers said he was...
http://www.allabouthistory.org/josephus-and-christ-faq.htm
http://jewishchristianlit.com/Topics/JewishJesus/josephus.html
So it kinda looks to me that the atheists actually do their best to totally dodge the issue of who Jesus was...because they have no answer!
Because if they cannot deny he existed, then they must either call Jesus a total lunatic and a liar or they have created their own contradiction and discredited themselves. Surely they cannot accept that he was God but then how do they explain his claims that he was God??
If they simply want to discount Jesus as mostly legend built on top of a little fact, then they are unfortunately and ignorantly going down a path that many atheists themselves agree is an illogical and erroneous path...as then they will find themselves totally unable to explain enormous numbers of different things like the conversion of the masses and the disciples, their actions and martyrdom, and thousands of years of people with personal experiences that prove them wrong...but of course, who ever said an atheist needed to behave intelligently....they only claim to be intelligent.
But in the end, one simple fact wins every single argument with any atheist...
All you ever have to do is let an atheist talk long enough, and they it's like giving them enough rope and they hang themselves...
They ultimately always begin talking about the weirdest and most irrational things that expose them as way, way more ignorant and superstitious than the very people they are denigrating and calling ignorant and scammed.
Witness the atheist Richard Dawkins explaining his view of how life came to be on earth...and coming up with a wild theory of aliens bringing it here from another world...
Whoa...you need more faith to believe in that silly "religion" than to believe in Christianity, and yet he condemns people who believe God created life.
But then atheists also will ultimately ramble on about supernatural stuff that is so far "out on a limb" that it exposes atheists as believers in a far, far more preposterous "religion" and believing in fairy tales" than anything they claim you or I are doing.
Just recall the book & movie "Out on a Limb"...which starts with "atheism"..and ends with the most laughably silly and easily disprovable wild beliefs that you'd ever run across...everything to out-of-body experiences to extra-sensory knowledge..
http://www.believersweb.org/view.cfm?ID=659
And of course some recall those who believed in and promoted worldwide....
the "Harmonic Convergence"...
Just do the tiniest little bit of checking on this absolute crap that the atheists have foisted on people over the years...
this whole mystical harmonic convergence scam was 100% atheist conceived and organized...
They were all wacky atheists -- many were openly claiming to be drug users, hallucinogen-users...real, real wackos...but still vigorously promoting their atheism...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonic_Convergence
Of course, every provable aspect of everything those kooks ever said -- has since been soundly and totally discredited and DIS-proven.....and in the end those wacked out atheists were buying into, believing, and promoting one of the most ridiculous SCAMS ever seen on the face of the earth or in all the annals of religion or mystical beliefs!!
So what's next.....well, we all know what's coming....there's a couple dates coming up where the world is supposed to end again!
Watch the atheists get in on this garbage as well..... guarantee it...
when it comes to calling someone else's beliefs phony or myth, these guys take the cake...
They've been chasing the most comical and wild beliefs for centuries under the guise of "KNOWLEDGE" and a higher level of seeing or understanding....
But be prepared...it isn't going to stop any time soon.....the atheists are apparently offended by people who have faith or by religious people and want to find a way to put an end to religion....
I think the best educated Christians have a source of knowledge that prepares them well for the atheists and for everything else that's coming...and the atheists will agree some day that they were DEAD wrong, and I emphasize the "dead".
