You just gotta hope for an injury-free season!

News emerging of yet another potentially troubling and difficult injury to one of our Braves... I hope it'll all turn out OK -- but our thoughts and prayers for the guys who are just getting started with the summer program and workouts -- and stay healthy and get well from your injuries.

Also some odd news that was tweeted about earlier this morning. The internet posting for the position on the women's basketball staff has just been changed and now Bradley is looking for and interviewing for TWO open spots on the women's basketball coaching staff. We know Jeni Garber is gone, but that leaves an interesting and puzzling question --

A year ago the men's basketball coaching staff suddenly and unexpectedly had two openings that had to be filled. This is a little bit like deja vu -- and I have heard some interesting chatter that suggests the two situations a year apart are not as totally and diametrically different as some will argue.

Another local high school kid gets the chance to play college ball -- this time at Waubonsee Community College --

Bobby Knight again shows his true colors and throws himself in with the cheaters and defends them -- calling even the rules they violated and their cheating -- "Idiotic rules"....

And MVC foe Evansville may be the beneficiary of sophomore Bobby Capobianco getting booted and Creaned off the Indiana Hoosiers' roster. Word is he may be headed to Evansville -- getting some reports out of the Evansville press in regards to this...

BUBravesBlogger is a blog about a pretty narrow range of topics -- basically just Bradley basketball -- and a few other issues - some a bit off topic -- yet it is amazing how many viewers we are now getting and from so many different sources -- all of which is tracked by the server and reported as "Stats"...

June thus far is the busiest month ever and we're in the dead center of the off-season which is generally pretty slow. BUT it is obvious people have a significant interest in Bradley basketball and come here to find out the news....so we'll continue to supply it to them..

The referring site is also noted in our stats and as one might guess, three of the biggest sources of traffic here are BradleyFans.com, a certain twitter site, and google searches (people searching via google.om for "bubravesblogger").
But now since we've had a couple articles about BU recruits like Jerron Wilbut and Nate Taphorn, and other basketball topics like the incoming guys - Shayok and the older guys - Will Franklin-- this blog is beginning to get linked by BIG TEN message boarders, and others AND as usual it also gets linked by the PJS folks who find this blog obviously interesting enough to occupy themselves reading it and discussing it endlessly.
Thus lots of new people are coming in and reading...a few leave comments, but even fewer are worth publishing.
Thanks to all who come and read -- the info is offered and you can take it or leave it - but if you can do better, then do so....you are being hilariously disingenuous by criticizing everything - yet copying and poaching info and topics and pretending like you discovered it yourself!
Much of what's getting posted you-know-where as current topics is simply copied and pasted from here and from BradleyFans....nice that some are now finally admitting it.

BTW -- the numbers are real -- stop discounting the facts -- the traffic and the viewers and activity on Bradleyfans are really 10-20 times that of competing (if they're even close to doing that) boards...
and one last thing -- maybe more good news coming --
