News on Bradley's non-conference home game this coming season vs. SEMO, and another opponent in the works?
Southeast Missouri State has confirmed that they are coming to Bradley in 2011-2012 for a non-conference game, and they even detail what is the amount they are being paid as their guarantee fee...
The SEMO folks will take home a tidy sum -- $70,000...
"Southeast Missouri State's 2011-12 men's basketball schedule is close to being finalized, with the entire slate expected to be released by the university in the next several weeks.
... the Redhawks will open the season at the University of Missouri, with Southeast receiving $90,000 for one of its annual "guarantee" games.
Southeast will play another of its guarantee games at
Bradley for $70,000. That's an attractive matchup
for the Redhawks because Bradley is in
a total rebuilding phase and could be vulnerable.
Absent from the schedule, probably much to the disappointment of Southeast fans, is SIU-Carbondale. The regional rivals met the past two years after having not played since the 2004-05 season"

"(The George Washington) ..Colonials are also in talks with a number of teams to ink competition, including potential road games against Syracuse and Tulane..
... the Colonials are also exploring contracts with the
Bradley, Navy and Hartford programs."
"Scheduling is two things. It's dates and money," Kvancz said. "Our goal is home games, but we need to see where things will work out."
