Some interesting college basketball tidbits....

Anyone remember this kid?? He is a one time BU recruit -- Morgan Park HS then Highland juco ...Parrish West.
Believe it or not -- we once discussed him on BradleyFans under the moniker "mystery recruit" since our staff wanted his name kept quiet.
Anyway -- after high school, then even again after junior college Parrish's academics simply couldn't get him into D-I, so he landed at D-II. In fact he didn't even play all that much in high school because of academic suspensions....which kept his talent somewhat under the radar.
Now he is the D-II Player of the Year.....he could have helped someone at the D-I level, I am sure...

Their other incoming guy Dorrian Wiliams is also asking out of his LOI and he has
not been offered by Tennessee, so it's not because he is going with Cuonzo over there...

One guy that left MSU last year, Jerome Jones is now going to SIUE.

The people posting in this thread were apparently watching the game on TV and doing a narrative of the aciton....

Note how many times they mention that Ryan Boatright is terrible...one guy says he's 5'-2" and really short...and many mention he hogs the ball, dribbles too much, makes bad passes...
and a couple say flatly they would NOT want Boatright on their team...
This is interesting......the kid can score a bunch in high school -- guess we'll have to see how he does in college..UConn wanted Boatright to replace Kemba Walker -- perhaps the best player in college basketball.

Here's an interesting commentary from the ISU Redbird board....
This guy says he has seen Johnny Hill several times -- Hill is the top incoming ISU recruit.......
The ISU fan/poster says he is skinny, not really for college, bad ballhandling skills, turns it over a lot, and "not all that athletic"....etc...
The guy says he is the same player as Justin Clark and so won't get playing time over a kid who's been in the system two years already!!
..and says Hill should redshirt!!!
Wow -- if Hill redshirts, then I will be surprised!
