Jalen James is a fine point guard prospect out of a small school - Chicago Hope Academy, playing for the Illinois Wolves.

A brand new premium article tells about Jalen, Class of 2013 -- just now finishing up his sophomore year...whose only current offer is Cleveland State...
He is just now blowing up -- and will be in action this weekend with his Illinois Wolves...
"I'm very excited to be playing with the Wolves," said James. "We have been working really hard and are ready to play in our first tournament. Our practice is very hard, so we will be prepared."
The Wolves take the court Apr. 9-10 in the Hall of Fame Chicago Championship in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. James, a 6-foot-2 point guard, will run with the Wolves 16U club along with guards Lance Whitaker of Bartlett (Ill.) and St Charles (Ill.) East product Kendall Stephens.
James is already a pure point guard with great vision and feel for the game. He wants to become more of a floor leader with the ability to manage the game from the one spot.
"So far I have an offer from Cleveland State," said James. "I'm hearing from Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Baylor, Dayton, and some other schools. I don't really have a favorite school yet. It is the beginning of the process."

One ex-BU recruit, Stan Simpson is getting lots of mention being one of the only available big men this spring..
And it looks like Stan is getting into all the hype -- even announcing via twitter every move he makes and where he's going to visit...
Surely he'll be having a big press conference soon to announce which hat he's gonna wear...

I got a kick out of how incredibly FEW fans turned out to greet and welcome their National Champs back home...
only a few dozen fans bothered to show -- and far more than that were rioting and causing trouble!!

Yuba College is where Boogie Wright and Zach Andrews both went to juco before starring for Bradley -- and their coach Doug Cornelius is in the news again in a story about another kid he guided to D-I...
