Again, since the rumored details of the firing of Coach Les were so precise....given nobody's ever heard much nor been able to confirm much about any contract or agreement Coach Les has ever worked under...that if they were true, then it should have been pretty easy to confirm such rumors...but of course nobody can...throwing egg n the face of those who stood on their reputation that those "Coach Les is fired"-rumors are true....so much for the reputation of a few of the rumormongers.


Speaking of posts that are laughable and should be saved for the comedy Hall of Fame...
I ran across this one, that was posted after the initial story of John Wilkins verbaling to Iowa State. Now recall, that story has now been proven fully false and misreported...yet one poster on a message board here in Central Illinois said this...
"Wilkins will be a starter on next year's Iowa State team"

then I got a similar belly laugh out of the guys who are the biggest flamers and name callers of all saying that the name-calling should end....whoa........please take it back to your flame thread elsewhere...it wasn't me who discredited myself totally with detailed posts about a buyout that never happened!


There continues to be a lot of odd speculating by Indiana fans about John Wilkins...that nobody's heard a thing since he visited campus and none f the recruiting experts have said a word....except one who said if fans want to help out Indiana, then they should stay quiet on this one, as Wilkins is being asked to lay low until IU sorts out its scholarship situation and hears back from the other guys who have been offered ahead of Wilkins.
I hope JW knows he's being played for a fool and may end up with nothing from them.


I had a laugh about all the stories on Tennessee and Bruce Pearl...and how the poor team had to overcome soooo much sad adversity and really tough things that were foist upon them...
Keep in mind the tough circumstances were that the players voluntarily chose to mess with guns, drugs, and booze, and proceed to get arrested multiple times causing Tennessee to get ranked among the Top 5 dirtiest and renegade programs ever!!
At BU, if even one player is arrested, even if it's just an underage drinking, then the place is a renegade program and coaches need to be fired!

But if your entire freakin' team has a list of drug and gun arrests as long as your arm, then the press covers the story and talks endlessly about how the team has OVERCOME SUCH DIFFICULT ADVERSITY!!
They need to be applauded and the coach has done a GREAT job bringing the team together and making outstanding citizens of everyone, and the whole thing should go down in HISTORY as a monumental achievement!!!!

Both Chris Lowery and Purdue's Matt Painter have stories in their local coverage about how much money they make at a time when all the rest of the employees on the campus are being asked to take pay cuts because of bad economic times.
