We call it loyalty, but some don't know the meaning - and where have all the rumors gone?

The current Bradley players gave their verbal pledges to play at Bradley and have kept their words. They have been LOYAL to Bradley and loyal to the fans.
The coaching staff has likewise been loyal to Bradley and to the fans.
And quite obviously the vast majority of Braves fans are solid and loyal even in down years. I know I am, I think it's just part of who most people are - they are people with integrity and loyalty, especially to an institution that many if not most of us attended and give our personal and financial support to.

But then there are a crew of people who know not what loyalty is. They turn on anyone and anything when it's to their liking. Lately we have seen people claiming to be Bradley fans who display a hostile and arrogant attitude as if Bradley basketball is all about them. If they don't get what they want they'll even turn on their own mother - since loyalty means only being loyal to themselves!
We see attacks against players and attacks against the coaches. We see the vicious rumors.....slander that is unbased and false, yet propagated with glee by the false prophets.

But the most blatant example of the low state of the Bradley bashers is their incessant attempts to attack, criticize, and smear the true Bradley fans....
and for what.....for their LOYALTY!
Clearly they do not understand the concept. We are loyal BECAUSE we are LOYAL people....they think loyalty apparently only comes as a reward they give for something they want....like a simple "thanks"...but we all know most of those unloyal pseudofans have a pretty cheap loyalty since they are never among the names we see as solid supporters and donors. Like maybe just buying a ticket gives the right to rip on other fans who truly are loyal. That's the rules they live by.

Thankfully the folks at Bradley know who their true and loyal supporters are, and it is obvious they know by the way they treat their best supporters. Those who want to hide their identities and rant against Bradley stand out as phonies.

Some facts have come to light about the writer of the letter selected by the local Peoria paper to print as an attack against the Bradley team and Coach Les.
If we can assume the letter was indeed written by the person whose name and city were there, it has now become known that the person is a long time Peoria Journal Star employee as is his wife! Wow - this looks like a little hidden agenda if you ask me. Sure anyone is entitled to believe and write what they want, but when the facts are known and it is obvious that the PJS just happened to pick a letter written by one of their own employees, then more than a few eyebrows have to be raised.
Believe what you want, but if an employee of the Bradley athletic department was the writer of the letter, and it was pro-BU, then I am sure it would have been a HUGE deal and the paper would have made an issue out of it.

That's why Bradley basketball and BU athletics needs and fortunately HAS coverage in the form of forums, message boards, and blogs that are independent and not biased against Bradley as are certain other sources for whatever their motives.
There's more on this coming as well....and funny how all the bashers who started all the rumors are suddenly all gone...disappeared and not posting as if in hiding since their detailed rumors are beginning to look pretty silly.
Thankfully the facts can speak for themselves and time will show who is right.
