Famous People from the Missouri Valley

Just thought I'd compare all the famous graduates from each of the fine schools in the Missouri Valley Conference.

These names are from their own web sites and other sources...so you decide which school has the most prestigious grads.........

Bradley: Jack Brickhouse, Phillip Jose Farmer, Hersey Hawkins, Chick Hearn, David Horowitz, Ernst Ising, Ray LaHood, Jim Les, Bobby Joe Mason, Joe B. McDade, Robert Michael, Patrick O'Bryant, Anthony Parker, Kirby Puckett, Marcus Pollard, Aaron Schock, General Shalikasvili, Charlie Steiner, Chet Walker, plus many, many other notable doctors and outstanding professionals....

Creighton: Bob Gibson, Paul Silas...and surprisingly, that's about the extent of the recognizable names!
Someone gimme more names if you know them, but even Creighton isn't coming up with them...

Drake: Steve Allen, Roger Williams, and beyond those nobody else that I can even recognize...

Evansville: Jerry Sloan, Ron Glass (the Black dude in "Barney Miller", and nobody else I recognize...

Illinois State: Suzy Bogguss (singer), Doug Collins, Steve Fisher (ex-Michigan coach), John Malkovich (actor), Dan Roan (WGN sports reporter), DA Weibring..and not many others who are recognizable

Indiana State: Birch Bayh, Larry Bird, Dean Hirsch (World Vision International), Burl Ives, Thad Matta, Kurt Thomas (Olympic Gymnast), John Wooden

Missouri State: John Goodman (actor), John Q. Hammons, Jackie Stiles, Kathleeen Turner (actress)

BUT-- she used to be pretty !!!

Northern Iowa: Greg McDermott (this one might actually count against them), Kurt Warner, and that's pretty much it...

Southern Illinois: Jim Belushi (not John Belushi or it would have counted for more), Roland Burris (this one is definitely a negative), Chris Carr, Walt Frazier, Buckminster Fuller, Jim Hart, Curt Jones (inventor of Dippin Dots - not a big name but I like Dippin Dots), Richard Roundtree (Shaft), Paul Simon

Wichita State: Antoine Carr, Cliff Levingston, Dennis Rader (serial killer known as "BTK"), Dave Stallworth

so, I think the winner is really quite clear...I may have missed some people that others would know, but I seriously tried to include everyone I could find who was notable and easily recognizable....
If I missed anyone, PM me...but you decide......

New Mizzou signee, Ricardo Ratliffe, who just signed his LOI a coule days ago is now saying he will ask out of his LOI if head coach Mike Anderson leaves (he is being wooed by Oregon with big $$ offers).
Anderson is expected to announce his decision on Sunday.

In a premium recruiting story on Pittsburg Jam Fest, AAU Tournament....Bradley recruit Justin Gant basically reveals that Bradley is not after him any longer.
The evaluators said he had a "nice performance" ub needs to get stronger, and that the onlyu offers he is currently holding are Evansville, SIU, and Iowa State (aren't they offering just about everyone like Indiana??) but he also notes a couple bigger guys are checking in.
