Jason Faulknor news and LOTS more...

Here's a whole bunch of followup on ex-Bradley Brave Jason Faulknor...
http://bradleyfans.com/vb/showpost.php?p=185939&postcount=1

Jason also played in Portugal this past year and you can even find a bunch of hit by googling some of his stats under the misspellings..."Jason Falkner", "Jason Falkor" and "Nason Faulknor"...
He scored fairly well and averaged around 12 ppg

BTW-- Here are Jason Faulknor's stats while he was with the Braves 2000-2004.

Duke's Cameron Indoor Arena, where Bradley goes to play on this December 8, is ranked the toughest place to play in all of college basketball.......

SIU's Chris Lowery makes the top of a very undesirable list!!
He is ranked #2 most likely coach to get fired (#2 on the Hot Seat List!)
http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1100007

But kinda amazing -- with all the great talent he has and has coming in...this writer also lists Illinois' Bruce Weber at #10....sorry, don't think so...
I think Bruce's recruiting has bought him a few years!

Here's a long interview with Drake's Willie Wise...a great scorer out of the 70's...
http://www.collegehoopsnet.com/jon-teitels-interview-series-drake-legend-willie-wise-168650

A lot of the interview talks about Willie's Jehovah's Witness leanings at the time, but it is noted elsewhere, that Willie recognized the futility of that cult belief, and renounced his Jehovah Witness beliefs and became a converted, Bible believing Christian, and he wants that known, so he puts it in his bio!

I checked to see who else is listed as a "Famous Jehovah's Witness"..and guess what --
They do list Danny Granger, although it's a pretty sorry list of famous people, with few recognizable names.......sorry, but the truth hurts!

Anyway.......In the interview, the writer lists who he thinks are the best pro players ever from each current Valley school...note that Bradley has several who are better known and better players than most of the other schools...
He names Chet Walker for BU..

Ranking of the Best Pro Players from the MVC --
Best Pro Players in MVC History

Creighton: Paul Silas (1965)
Drake: Willie Wise (1970)
Evansville: Jerry Sloan (1966)

Missouri State: Curtis Perry (1971)
Northern Iowa: NO ALUMNI IN ABA/NBA

There's some news about a top high school player named TJ Bell....
TJ Bell was one of the best players in the state of Illinois as a freshman (Class of 2012) in 2008-2009, but the coach at Charleston, IL did not want to play TJ on varsity, so he moved and lived with an acquaintance in Bloomington, IN to try to get more exposure...
But he had trouble getting eligible at Bloomington, IN North HS because his mother did not move with him.
So, now it appears TJ is moving back to Charleston, IL to play there next year.
TJ Bell's mom is an ex-WNBA player, and is currently an assistant coach on the Eastern Illinois University women's basketball staff.

His mom is Quacy Timmons (Barnes) who played in the WNBA

One of Kentucky's returning players, Darnell Dodson, is apparently being forced to sit out this coming season....the reason is still pretty mysterious...but all the more shows the weird roster turnover that's happening at UK under Calipari...

Indiana makes the Top 5 once again - although maybe not the top 5 list they want to make!!

scout.com has a new ranking for Class of 2011 - despite Chasson Randle impressing everyone who watches him, these guys have dropped Chasson to #45!
And lots of people have Mychael Henry in their Top 40 but not these guys (#62)...they are so east coast- and west coast-centric and ignore the midwest!!

If you want to catch up with the Illinois Wolves Chasson Randle...check here...
He's a great kid - 4.0 student....and was very interested in Bradley at one time, until he really BLEW UP!!

And a new ranking for 2012...

I thought you can't use injuries as an excuse...but it's starting already..

One last laugh...
here's a news report of something a resort town did in order to...
"improve the town’s image"

so...to improve the town's image, they banned bikini's!!!
Boy -- I'll bet this really helps tourism......not
