Bradley's MEET THE BRAVES - Preseason Spaghetti and Chicken Dinner

The attendance at the Homecoming soccer Tailgate was unfortunately bad due to the weather, but here's your chance to see and greet the 2009-2010 Bradley Braves.

The team will be at the Itoo Hall Tuesday night - October 6. Doors open at 5PM with food served from 5:30PM on...
The food is always great, and the Braves will start showing up shortly thereafter and they do their best to intermingle with the crowd, chat, and sign autographs.
The Coach Les will introduce the players and talk a little about each of them, and generally a couple of them speak or, in Andrew Warren's case, do a comedy routine.

So, everyone get out there Tuesday night.....since there is no Red-White Game this season, and one of the preseason exhibition games will be closed and out of town, the chances to see the Braves before the season starts are limited.
Let's have a great turnout.......this is going to be a great season.

For those who need help getting to the Itoo Hall you can either take I-474 and exit at Farmington Rd. then come back towards Peoria and the Itoo will be on your left in just a few hundred yards.
-

or go past the Bradley campus, down Farmington Road, past Bradley Park, then past Kickapoo Creek, and the Itoo is just past the top of the Hill headed towards Hanna City, and it'll be on your right if you are going this way.

Even if you don't want to eat, come anyway and bring your kids, there's always things for them to do...let's support the 2009-2010 Bradley Braves!!

IN A NEW PREMIUM ARTICLE this morning, scout.com ranks the Illinois Class of 2010...and the guy doing the ranking MUST be an Illinois fan....check it out..
http://scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=2&c=905989

the top 3 kids are Illini guys (Jereme Richmond, Meyers Leonard, and Crandall Head) even though Head will not play this season due to serious knee injury/ACL that has needed two surgeries.

BTW-- look for Bill Self to use recently suspended Brady Morningstar (DUI) as a scapegoat...he will be the one guy punished hard and suspended for the whole first semester...which amounts only to a handful of easily winnable games..
but then Morningstar was going to be relegated to the role of a deep sub anyway...so Self will simplify his playing time decisions and make himself look strong in the press by suspending the kid.
