http://www.pantagraph.com/sports/article_b45ecd7e-a3f9-11de-9187-001cc4c03286.html

BTW-- there was some message board discussion that Robinson could well be a key player for ISU, maybe even a starter in his freshman season..
He still has a long way to go...

Two players from Three Rivers CC are visiting Wichita State, Ehimen Orupke and Marquis Carter. Orupke is already verballed to WSU but has not played competetively in nearly 3 years due to visa issues, travel from Africa, eligibility and injury issues.

Indiana Pacers sign ex-Illini Luther Head.

Chicago Foreman guard Lavonte Dority has narrowed to just Baylor New Mexico, and South Florida.

Total lack of respect?? Nothing new...but this blog from the Chicago Sun Times names some assistant coaches that do well recruiting the state of Illinois.
The blogger names a ton of assistants and even some really obscure ones...like Isaac Chew of Murray State & Rodell Davis of Providence (there's not a single kid on the Providence roster that was landed by this guy...so what gives here??)
Anyway....as expected....not a mention of any Bradley coach even though we have had a few decent Illinois prospects!

More laughable discipline from West Virginia's Bob Huggins...
One of his players got into serious legal and criminal trouble this past summer, so the kid was "suspended".
But now, absolutely as soon as the team workouts can begin, the kid gets reinstated.
Anyone think, like me, that this was just a charade, and the kid really gets NO discipline at all?
Recall, two other WVU players have had multiple, serious legal problems and arrests, and they are all reinstated without missing a single game or practice.
http://www.wboy.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=66848&catid=3

Is it any wonder that Huggins' players never, ever learn? They are in legal trouble the rest of their lives!!

Memphis is now overtly interested in bolting from the CUSA and getting into one of the BCS conferences, perhaps the Big East.
They just hired (former) Big East commissioner Mike Tranghese to help them get it done.
http://espn.go.com/blog/bigeast/post/_/id/2652/memphis-hopes-tranghese-is-ticket-to-bcs

They have BCS recruits, they have lured BCS-caliber coaches, and they have even accomplished BCS-caliber cheating and sorta gotten away with with it...so they should fit right in there with the UConn's, Louisivlle's, and Kentucky's!

Jereme Richmond has been verbally committed to Illinois for 3 years...now he says he's ready to sign on the dotted line...
LOI's can be signed November 11.
