I frequently check the other Valley teams' message boards but this past several weeks -- it had been tremendously slow on all of them -- really not much going on and barely a single new thread a day even on the busier ones ---
but here's the clincher -- the only topics that are being discussed on anyone else's boards are Bradley topics...
topics about BU's coaches, who BU signs, about JL hiring at UCD, and even this....
the SIU fans have nothing better to talk about - and about the only active thread on their board is about who is visiting BRADLEY!!!

BTW - Jim Molinari's top assistant at WIU is ex-Braves point guard Billy Wright. The PJS just did a "Where are they now" segment on Billy but they put it in the print version only and it is not online.



One highlight of the info from yesterday's chat was the confirmation that a home and home game with Michigan is in the works...
That doesn't mean it is 100% to get done but it's good news nonetheless -- and it means that Peoria native Max Bielfeldt might get to play in front of family and friends in Peoria in the next coming few years.



Nathan Taphorn is from Pekin HS -- I have watched the kid play both baseball and basketball since he was in 5-6th grade and playing against my kids -- but recently he shot up and is 6-6 and has concentrated on basketball -- and is doing quite well.....

I am informed he is visiting Bradley today after an impressive weekend at a top level tournament..
