..but Saturday, an Arkansas radio sports reporter showed up at a University of Arkansas football press conference wearing a University of Florida hat. She asked Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino several questions, then finally Petrino said he wouldn't answer any more of her questions while she was wearing that hat.
Arkansas lost last year to Florida....

But the radio station that employs Renee Gork, immediately fired her for this intentional, flagrant, and provocative grandstanding at the UA presser. But don't feel sorry for Gork - she's become an instant national personality and already has appeared on Mike and Mike..
But even stupider than her act was her lame excuse when she learned she was fired....she claimed she didn't know what kind of hat she had on!!!
"..she grabbed the hat without thinking Saturday because it was raining outside"
(even though it was reported she continued to wear the hat even after numerous other reporters in the room cautioned her to take it off).
Talk about stupidity....but older Bradley fans likely find some deja vu in all this.....

But interestingly, the chatter on the Arkansas message boards hints that this is not the first time this reporter has done stupid things...and a lot of fans appear happy she's been canned.
Many people think she was a little less than kind to the Hog fan base and perhaps a bit uninformed...

The radio station that has an enormous Arkansas fan base issued an apology for the reporter's behavior.
In an unrelated sports story -- ex-figure skater champion Nichole Bobek got arrested and convicted for her part in a massive drug ring.

I guess my question is this....she's guilty of ruining countless people's lives by dealing massive amounts of drugs...and the only sentence she gets is probation??
She goes free and has no real penalty -- just has to avoid getting caught again?
Hmmm...no wonder drugs remain such a serious problem, nobody fears getting caught for the manufacture, sale, or distribution when judges hand down soft sentences.
Now finally -- all the interesting college and pro basketball news....
This one is remotely Bradley related as Bradley was actually recruiting this kid at one time. Fabyon Harris, who now has reneged on his verbal for a third (and maybe even a fourth) time is back on the market -- but this time there's a little more serious reason.
He's unfortunately developed a little reputation as a head case that he may not get a lot of offers now......he may end up at Chicago State!

Probably have him too low. He just gets things done, but you keep saying he has to be limited as a 6-foot-5 power forward. However, he just keeps making plays and his perimeter game is getting better. He will be the biggest mover this winter if I were guessing.
16. Jeff Stokes 5-foot-11 Peoria Manual
Peoria toughness with some skills. Watched him play through a bloody lip and a teeth rattler in KC. His shooting is streaky, but he knows how to play."
You wonder why some of these recruiting gurus look so silly and are not taken seriously??
