International basketball has a few rules that differ from NCAA play, including the freedom to swat balls on the rim and the different 3-pt line.
The Braves had a session today with a FIBA referee to get a lesson on the new rules and what to expect.

Tom Crean made another twitter blunder today....kinda funny!
First he tweets this...
"The first 50 twitter followers that email me at mbasket@indiana.edu
will get a personalized signed picture from me. Send your address."
Chances are good he got a big response, then issues an immediate
qualifying statement...
"Due to NCAA rules i cannot send one to a prospect 7th grade through 12th grade
or their families. Sorry about that."
later he said he had over 300 responses in the first 18 minutes since the first tweet.
Less than two days until the Braves leave for Brazil!
