A few thing maybe you didn't see..

Rivals lists a bunch of players in college basketball they say are the most underrated players in D-I ...

There are no Valley players who make the list -- and few outside of the BCS ranks. But some, like Christian Watford -- I don't know who would consider the kid underrated -- he's been 4-Star, Top 50 since high school, the best player on IU, and one of the best in the Big Ten -- he even had folks speculating he might try to go this year in the NBA draft. That's hardly underrated.

University of San Diego player who allegedly took bribes is identified as Ken Rancifer.

Here's something ironic --
One of the most active discussions lately has been the talk about the Bradley assistant coach hiring and search...

Here's the thread from this past week off BradleyFans and it is titled -
"Whats up with the Assistant Coach search?"
-- LINK

But what's ironic is that precisely a year ago -- one of the more active topics was titled -
"What is the deal on the assistant job?"
-- LINK

....and of course the women's basketball program at BU is also looking for assistants.....

Lastly -- I ran across a mention in the news of David Thirdkill -- something that doesn't happen every day...

"Twenty-five years ago, the Celtics capped off incredible season...
They put together a 67-15 regular-season record..
They had four Basketball Hall of Famers – MVP Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish and Dennis Johnson – in the starting lineup and another – Bill Walton – earning the NBA’s Sixth Man Award ...

It was a well-rounded team..With all the remarkable personalities and talent on the team,’’ said Walton, “from Dennis Johnson and Danny Ainge and Robert Parish and Kevin McHale and Scott Wedman and Jerry Sichting and Rick Carlisle and Greg Kite and David Thirdkill and Sam Vincent, at the end of the day, we had Larry Bird, who was just so spectacular."

AND -- for those interested -- here's another nostalgic and reminiscing article that happens to mention another old-time Ex-Brave, Steve Kuberski...
